As Ashford University developed benefits for military and DoD, the recruiting team needed a piece for the Education Service Officers on each base that explained the benefits of the school. While other schools utilized their existing materials, we created a bespoke piece that spoke directly to the military personnel. The model for this piece was an actual military personnel file from the father of our Art Director.
The photos and metal clip graphics were given a spot UV varnish so that they stood out from the matte finish.
Two years into the military program we decided it was time for a refresh so we used this opportunity (and an increase in budget) to take things up a notch.
The revised version of the ESO guide features a die-cut cover with a string and button closure. Inside you are greeted by a stack of tabbed sheets held together by an actual metal binder.
